Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ShowVault ("the Dashboard") or VaultBridge ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

ShowVault provides a unified dashboard for viewing and managing your graded card collections across multiple vault services (PSA, Alt, Fanatics). VaultBridge is a Chrome extension that enables user-initiated synchronization of vault inventory data to your ShowVault account.

3. User Responsibilities

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use magic link authentication; protect your email account as it provides access to ShowVault.

Vault Provider Terms

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of your vault providers (PSA, Alt, Fanatics). By using VaultBridge, you represent that:

• You are accessing your own vault data on accounts you own or are authorized to access
• You understand VaultBridge reads publicly visible DOM content from authenticated pages
• You initiate each sync manually and consent to the data transfer

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to access vaults you do not own or have authorization to access
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the extension in ways that violate these terms
• Share your account with others or allow unauthorized access

4. Data Ownership

Your data remains yours. ShowVault stores your card collection data to provide the service, but you retain all ownership rights. You may export or delete your data at any time.

We do not claim ownership of your collection data or card images. Images are cached from vault providers solely for display purposes within your dashboard.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. Public Sharing

ShowVault allows you to create public links to share your collection. When you create a public share link:

• The linked content becomes visible to anyone with the URL
• You are responsible for what you choose to share publicly
• You can revoke public links at any time from your dashboard
• We are not responsible for how third parties use publicly shared information

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance and updates
• Changes to vault provider websites that affect synchronization
• Technical issues beyond our control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

ShowVault and VaultBridge are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for:

• Data accuracy - Collection data is extracted from vault provider pages and may contain errors
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions taken by vault providers (account restrictions, policy changes)
• Any damages arising from use of the service

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service (if any) in the twelve months prior to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShowVault, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that harms the service or other users.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for account recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted unless you request immediate deletion.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
